About the event
Join Gumbaynggirr Knowledge Holder Matt Flanders in a culturally safe space for a hands-on workshop exploring the Gumbaynggirr traditional knowledge and craftsmanship involved in making a boomerang.
This workshop provides participants with the opportunity to learn how to identify and select appropriate materials, understand traditional tool-making techniques, and create their own boomerang.
Participants will take home the tool they make during the workshop.

Duration: 6 hours
Lunch break: 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm
