About the event
Join Gumbaynggirr Knowledge Holder Matt Flanders in a culturally safe space for a hands-on workshop exploring the Gumbaynggirr traditional knowledge and craftsmanship involved in making traditional shell tools.
This workshop provides participants with the opportunity to learn how to identify and select appropriate materials, understand traditional tool-making techniques, and create their own shell tools.
Participants will take home the tool they make during the workshop.

Lunch break: 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm
